About Mara Adhbhar
Mara Adhbhar Community Interest Company (CIC) provides Blue Mind informed leadership coaching and mentoring for individuals and organisations working across the third and public sectors in Scotland.
We work alongside chairs, trustees, senior leaders and emerging leaders, offering tailored coaching, mentoring and reflective space at moments of growth, transition and challenge.
Our work supports people carrying social purpose and public value every day to lead with clarity, resilience and confidence. Rooted in purpose, partnership and place, Mara Adhbhar is inspired by the restorative power of blue spaces and nature on human wellbeing.
This influence shapes how we show up, prioritising depth over noise and reflection over reaction, while remaining firmly focused on practical, high‑quality leadership support that helps organisations thrive.
Our approach is relational, strengths‑based and systems‑aware. We recognise that individual leadership wellbeing and organisational impact are deeply connected, and that sustainable change is built through supported, values‑led leadership.

Small Actions ~ Big Ripples
Mara Adhbhar CIC is a registered Community Interest Company, incorporated in Scotland and registered with Companies House (Company No. SC878672).
A Community Interest Company (CIC) is a type of limited company created to benefit the wider community rather than private shareholders. CICs operate with a clear social purpose, are required to demonstrate community benefit, and have an asset lock to ensure that any surplus or assets are used to support that purpose over the long term.
As a socially driven CIC, reinvestment is central to everything we do. For every coaching package purchased, free coaching & mentoring hours are released back into the social economy. These hours can be used by the organisation’s own beneficiaries or delivery partners, or gifted onward to another charity or social enterprise where the impact will be most meaningful.
Each engagement therefore creates a ripple effect - supporting individual leaders while strengthening the wider ecosystem of social change across Scotland. Mara Adhbhar exists to help those who serve others feel supported themselves, and to ensure that leadership in the third and public sectors is sustainable, values‑led and deeply human.
